Overcharged

In this game the player fights to escape his containment in an evil AI's lab to save the world from its doom. The final battle with the Intelligence may change the fate of all men and  AI agents.

This is a 2D top-down rogue-like game that merges the concepts of health, ammo and a timer into one thing. The player has to manage to neither run out of energy while firing his gun, nor getting overcharged when getting hit.  Every room and play-through is made unique through procedural generation of the map and rooms. If you manage to survive long enough, you will find the "minotaur in the maze" (you may use a thread if you need it).

The game was made by "The Shocking 7" team for the Sofia Game Jam 2023 in 48 hours.
